Marissa Sheldon

Marissa Sheldon is an Associate Management Consultant at E. Rogers Associates and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology at Hofstra University. She previously received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in May of 2023 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

During her time at UNC, she focused on being an active volunteer through programs around campus, including within the university’s hospital. She helped to reinstate the presence of the National Marrow Donor Program, where she assisted in actively recruiting members and engaging in fundraising initiatives in support of the non-profit organization. Marissa was also able to work on research initiatives where she could assess and evaluate assessments related to mental health resources ultimately provided to students within the school.

As a student at Hofstra, she has been involved in her program by contributing to the Industrial Organizational Psychology Newsletter where she published a piece focused on a compressed work week.
